Tysabri is biologic therapy that is indicated for treating
- adults with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) to slow the worsening of symptoms and to decrease the number of relapses
- Crohn’s disease
Tysabri has proved to significantly slow the progression of physical disability over a period of 12 weeks.
The therapy also reduces the formation of new active sclerotic brain lesions and reduces the frequency of relapses in adults with multiple sclerosis.
Patients typically receive a Tysabri infusion every 28 days, with each infusion session lasting about 60 minutes.
