Simponi Aria is biologic therapy that is indicated for treating
- moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and currently taking methotrexate
- active psoriatic arthritis
- active ankylosing spondylitis
Simponi Aria is a medicine that blocks the action of the immune protein tumor necrosis factor (TNF).
Simponi Aria is administered by infusion at weeks 0 and 4, and every 8 weeks thereafter.
Each infusion usually can be given over 30 minutes.
